Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 1, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to RiskLync ("we", "our", "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy while providing lead intelligence for the insurance industry. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

  • Account Data: Your name, email address, and company name, used for account management, authentication, and support.
  • Lead Data: Information you upload for scoring and analysis, including phone numbers, ZIP codes, names, dates of birth, and other lead attributes. This data is used by our scoring models to generate quality predictions and identity resolution.
  • Usage Data: Metadata collected during your use of the Service, such as IP addresses, session activity, API call patterns, and feature usage, used to improve platform performance and security.

3. Use of Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Score leads and return quality predictions, tier assignments, and identity resolution results.
  • Optimize bid recommendations and campaign performance based on your historical outcomes.
  • Monitor aggregate market trends to improve model accuracy (no individual lead data is shared across clients).
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations and generate audit trails.

4. Disclosure of Your Information

We may share information in limited situations to provide the Service:

  • Data Enrichment Partners: We interact with vetted identity resolution and data enrichment providers. Only the minimum data necessary to perform scoring is shared, and all partners are bound by data protection agreements.
  • AI Providers: Our campaign assistant uses Google Gemini for AI-driven analysis. No raw lead PII is sent to AI providers.
  • Compliance and Legal: If necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of RiskLync and our users, or to comply with applicable law and regulations including CMS rules.

5. Data Isolation

Your lead data, scoring results, and campaign configurations are isolated to your account. Buyers cannot see other buyers' data. Publishers cannot see buyer-specific performance metrics. Aggregate, anonymized patterns may be used to improve model accuracy, but individual lead records are never shared across accounts.

6. Security of Your Information

We use administrative and technical security measures to protect your data. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is controlled through role-based permissions and Firebase Security Rules. See our Security page for details.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Upon account termination, we will delete your lead data within 90 days unless retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., audit trails).

8. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. The platform is designed for use by authorized insurance industry professionals.
